Stewardship Is Not the Same as Control

Responsibility asks you to care for what has been entrusted to you. It does not grant control over every outcome.

You are responsible for choices that actually belong to you. Preparation, truthfulness, attention, money decisions, communication, maintenance, boundaries, and the way you treat people may all be yours to steward. The final outcome may not be.

Healthy stewardship plans, saves, prepares, communicates, repairs, and learns. It also knows when to release what does not belong to human control.

If you cannot tell the difference, you will either neglect what is yours or worship certainty.
